One week before elections at a multi-sectoral forum for mayoralty candidates, one candidate was explaining his thoughts and stand on certain issues that were presented by different sectors of society.
Host: Sir, unsa man imong mga panghuna-huna, ideya ug barug sa pundok sa mga Persons With Disability?
Candidate: Ah … Kanang mga PWD, kinahanglan jud na sila tagaan ug tagad ug atimanun kay naa man tay balaud para ana nila. Naa man na sa law, so sa akong giingon kinahanglan jud na sila atimanon. (Pause… thinking … and then points to his constituents)… Aww … kamo bitaw, kakita man jud mo sa akong binuhatan. Kakita man jud mo nga ang akong body guard kay BUKTOT!
