After more than 4,500 unique visitors, after over 11,000 total visits, and after a whopping 230,000 plus hits – all for the month of July 2007 – Himantayon.com exceeded its 4GB bandwidth limit last July 28, 2007.


We sincerely apologize for whatever inconvenience this may have caused you (naa ba?). Pasensya na! We really didn’t expect such a huge surge of traffic.

That being said, no one’s complaining. In fact, we’re quite amazed at this recent turn of events. If nothing else, at least we realized that we can survive 3 days without our daily dose of Himantayon.com. Hehehe.

In the month of July alone, the number of visitors skyrocketed to over 200% of its previous volume, thus resulting in an excess of bandwidth usage. Daily visits have been as frequent as 300 to 500.

Contingency Plan

Currently, we’re trying our very best to address this issue with our hosting provider. We are also closely monitoring our servers to prevent a repeat of this occurence.

What’s important is that we’re back online.
